Currently, I have a busy toddler and a newborn. I'm fairly new to being a stay at home mom, and made the big switch in 2013 after H was born. Just because I "stay at home" doesn't mean we watch tv in our pajamas all day, I try to find several inexpensive things to do each week. I amazed how much there is to do since I somehow thought I would have more time without working ten hour days. Sometimes its awesome, sometimes it's overwhelming, and sometimes I'm just plain exhausted.
I used to work in higher education fundraising, and always think that giving back financially and physically is very important. I volunteer through a ministry of my church with Side By Side, a program for supporting single mothers. These women are amazing people, and I am constantly amazed by their strength.
I love crafts - I like to crochet and I'm a beginner sewer. I love to read and think an e-reader is one of the best things you can get a mom (besides a spa day). I like cooking and baking. But mostly like everyone else I'm trying to navigate my way.
